1. Introduction

Paysight ("we", "our", or "us") is a revenue recovery intelligence platform operated by Paysight Technologies. We are committed to protecting your personal data and complying with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019 and other applicable data protection laws.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our platform at pay-sight.services.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of data:

Account Data

Your name, email address, business name, and phone number provided during registration.

Payment Gateway Credentials

API keys for payment gateways you connect. These are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and never stored in plain text.

Transaction Data

Payment transaction records fetched from your connected gateways, including amounts, statuses, failure codes, and customer email addresses.

Usage Data

Log data including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken within the platform.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to:

  • Provide the Paysight platform and its features
  • Analyse your payment transaction data to generate leakage reports and alerts
  • Send you alerts and weekly reports you have configured
  • Process your subscription payments
  • Provide customer support
  • Improve our platform and fix errors
  • Comply with legal obligations

We never sell your data to third parties. We never use your transaction data for advertising purposes. Paysight products are ad-free.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers located in Nuremberg, Germany (Hetzner Cloud). We protect your data using:

  • AES-256-GCM encryption for all API credentials
  • TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
  • Bcrypt hashing for passwords (12 rounds)
  • Role-based access controls within your organisation
  • Daily encrypted backups retained for 30 days
  • Intrusion detection and rate limiting

6. Your Rights (NDPR)

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection — object to processing of your data
  • Restriction — request we limit how we use your data

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@pay-sight.services. We will respond within 72 hours.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently delete all your personal data and transaction records within 30 days. Backup copies are purged within 60 days.

8. Cookies

Paysight uses a single authentication cookie (access_token) stored as an httpOnly cookie. This cookie is strictly necessary for authentication and cannot be used to track you across other websites. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you by email at least 14 days before making material changes to this Privacy Policy.
